Article 1 - Authority of punishing members

Section 1

The Linguistics Youth Club Board has absolute authority to punish any member of the Linguistics Youth Club at all times.

Section 2

Any member of the Linguistics Youth Club Board can punish any member of the Linguistics Youth Club at all times upon their discretion, and only the Linguistics Youth Club Board President has the authority to override such action.

Section 3

Any punishment involving revocation of any member's registration involves the consent of the Linguistics Youth Club Board President.

Section 4

Any punishment against members of the Linguistics Youth Club Board cannot be conducted.

Article 2 - List of infractions

Section 1

• Discrimination

• Harassment

Section 2

• Abusing any privileges within the Linguistics Youth Club Discord Server

• Disrupting any meeting or activity of the Linguistics Youth Club

• Insensitive comments

• Misusing any resource or property of the Linguistics Youth Club

• Promoting violence

Section 3

• Conspiring to incite discord within the Linguistics Youth Club

• Degrading the reputation of the Linguistics Youth Club

• Disrespecting the authority of any member of the Linguistics Youth Club Board

• Embezzlement of any resource or property of the Linguistics Youth Club

• Engaging in any violent cult activity

• Providing any false information upon registration

• Violating any federal, state, Californian, or local law or ordinance

Article 3 - List of punishments

• Warning (via email)

• Suspension

• Indefinite termination of membership

Article 4 - General enforcement of punishments

Section 1

All infractions are to be punished impartially and punctiliously without tolerance.

Section 2

All punishments cannot be pardoned except under the criterion given by Article 1, Section 2.

Section 3

All infractions under local chapters are to be punished impartially and punctiliously without tolerance. However, this can only be overridden under the request of the local chapter's president or under the criterion given by Article 1, Section 2.
